Chicago Cops Stunned, Dragged Suspect
The city of Chicago released a video late Monday showing police repeatedly tasing a man in a jail cell and dragging him from it—in handcuffs.
The release was accompanied by a statement from Mayor Rahm Emanuel that the 2012 treatment of Philip Coleman, who died from a reaction to an antipsychotic drug, was unacceptable. “I do not see how the manner in which Mr. Coleman was physically treated could possibly be acceptable,” Emanuel said.
