How are you guys doing? The year has flown by quickly.
Taking care of and managing my dad's affairs is weighing heavily and at times he can be a handful.
Hopefully, everything will work out and we possibly can get him to move across town over to my house, or the one across the street where my wife and I can look after him and be a lot more involved in getting him out and running around with us, as well as all the grandkids and great grandkids. They are all here.
Hard to believe mom has been gone seven months already.
She is missed and a hollow spot is left behind. I can only imagine how my dad feels after 63 years of marriage. I do not believe I would or could survive that.
I am hoping every one of my friends is in good health and and doing well.
I just bought a new Ugly Stick fishing Rod yesterday to go with a new Shimano Spinning Reel. I am going to learn to fish again at my little brother's 2 acre pond in Indiana and enjoy being around him. Should be fun. I used to like fishing when I was a teenager.
However, as an adult and older former athlete, I took up golf. But, I need to spend time with my brother who is 16 years younger and the baby of the family.
