When college graduates make more than garbage collectors, then you'll have a point.

Garbage collecting is just necessity, not science.

They are overpaid for garbage.

How can you say that? Is collecting garbage something that society can do without? You demean the people who are doing this and other very important jobs which society, while they might like to pretend that these jobs are of very little value, could not operate without them.

At the end of the day, which would impact the quality of life in the major cities in the country the most; the disappearance of the people who collected the garbage, or the disappearance of one or more of their professional sports teams? An NBA player makes more money in one evening than an entire team of garbage collectors make in a year, yet you're suggesting that they're being overpaid and pampered because they and their families have health insurance.
