If Trump does good things for the country, what does his personality matter?
My biggest concern is not over Trump's intelligence or personality. It's that I don't really know what he'll do. But if he ousts the Republican establishment and makes the G.O.P. a significant alternative to the Democratic Party - as it rightfully should be - then he'll be fine. Trump has said many times that he will surround himself with very bright people. If they're also good conservatives, that will make up for his many shortcomings.
