Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders claimed in an interview on Sunday with CNN’s “State of the Union” that, in the past, he has made his federal tax returns public, something that no presidential candidate is legally obligated to do. According to The Washington Post, though, that claim is not accurate.
In fact, it received a “four Pinocchios” rating from the newspaper.
