Mark Cuban Predicts Trump Will Run a ‘Seinfeld Campaign’ — ‘A Campaign About Nothing’

Cuban Billionaire Mark Cuban spoke to Neil Cavuto on his Fox Business show Wednesday afternoon to explain why Trump’s victory in the GOP race signaled the death knell of ideology in politics, and predicted a general election that may not be rooted in conversations about policy at all.
“Donald Trump is going to run a Seinfeld campaign,” Cuban said. “It’s going to be the campaign about nothing.” The Donald, he said, “recognized early on — it’s not about issues at all. A lot of people could care less. The only thing they care about is ‘What are you gonna do for me?'”
Cuban elaborated:
I think it just shows how tribal the United States has become. I don’t even think we are partisan anymore, I think we’re tribal. And Donald has got that whole what about me tribe running behind him and he’s excited them to come out and vote for him and it’s going to make for an interesting election.
The comments echo those Cuban made on The Nightly Show last December, when he said that Trump was “like that guy who walks into the bar, and will say whatever it’ll take to get laid. Only in this case he’s not trying to fuck some girl. He’s trying to fuck the country.”
