Hmmmmmm.
'Surface combatants' would probably leave out the
entire submarine force - which, besides the previously
mentioned attack boats, includes the 'Boomers'
(Ballistic Missile Submarines) and, I believe, we
have a few 'cruise missile launch platforms' -
submarines which used to be ballistic missile platforms,
but, because of strategic arms limitations, were converted
into cruise missile launchers.

They might also not be counting the helicopter carriers,
or the 'Gator Navy' (ships designed specifically to
land Marines on the shore).
