After reaching record-high temperatures in January, February, April and earlier in May, it was snowing in Calgary on Thursday.
Temperatures hovered near the freezing point in some parts of the city and Environment Canada forecast periods of rain "at times mixed with wet snow" for the morning, with temperatures rising to 6 C later in the day.
Snowfall warnings also remained in effect Thursday for Banff, Kananaskis, Pincher Creek and the Crowsnest Pass.
Note the gratuitous "record high temperatures" to keep pushing that global warming idea!
