...the republican party is not a government entity. It's more like a private club. They can do whatever they want, just like the democrats. Neither party seems to give a crappola what the people think.

Romney is an establishment republican That means that the republican establishment is more important to him than the republic. I voted for him because of who he was running against, not because I thought he was particularly good.

What should send shivers through the jackasses of the jackass party is the polling AFTER dems voted which showed over 30 percent who voted in the prinmary would vote for Trump in the National election...

THAT is an interesting twist....

BTW, someone start a petition to remove Mitt Romney from the Republican Party altogether. We could refer him to the communist party instead..
