De, I never make the news. If the sign
at the edge of town about the Roscoe
Plowboys shows up, Mom made it. A very
early picture of my gas station shows
up. I bought it because it is next door
to Mom's house. After it went out of
business, Mom was worried the kids
would set it on fire and her house
would burn down with it. I located
the old owner and bought it. Boy did
I get lucky! They had already dug up
the old gas tanks. A lady sold an old
gas station just down the street. It
cost her $27,000 to have those tanks
dug up.
