The difference couldn't be starker.
At an Obama rally yesterday there was a protester, an older man wearing military garb from his past, with a Trump sign making noise. The crowd started chanting Hillary, and Obama told them to focus.
Took him a few tries to get their attention.
He pointed out, we have freedom of speech & he has the right to support his candidate.
He looked like he served & deserved respect for that & that he was an older person.
Then he said don't boo, VOTE!
Really a model for how to handle this sort of situation, unlike Trump.
Later, Trump gave HIS interpretation of how this went down.
He said the camera never showed the protester (NOT TRUE)
he said Obama shouted at the protester (NOT TRUE)
and that if He treated a protester that way people would say he was unhinged....
Trump is such a serial liar its unnerving......
