Ron Paul is a spokesman for HarvestRight - a company that makes, among other things, Freeze Driers. His statement that freeze dried food stays good for twenty FIVE years grabbed my attention. That's five years longer than I'd heard and makes me feel better about the 37 year old food my friend gave me.

I was curious, so I grabbed the free "About Freeze Drying" guide available on the company's website.

I don't know what the prices are, but I gather that they're high. Very high. As in, the company has a drawing on its site right now for TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS OFF the purchase of one of its freeze driers.

Yikes.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
