but don't want the sarcasm to go too far. like many others, i am concerned by the way many moslems currently interpret islam.

i am content with trump's naming of the problem and the fact that he is seeking to do something about it. my objection is to his methodology.

for me, the politics of islam is intrinsic to the failures of the states trump named. so you are importing the dysfunction if people bring their beliefs with them. it's important to limit the volume and/or to winnow the bad apples and/or to confine the way moslems interpret their religious politics and law.

if it wants to protect itself from harm, the us has to employ the levers the law provides. it can do so without acting rashly and precipitously. and it should seek to do so without creating egregious animosity in the process. by releasing a poorly considered eo he has undermined the very thing he was trying to affect.

just as angela merkel did in the opposite direction by opening the doors to massive volumes of refugees.

i agree. we should consider all risks equally.

perhaps we should take the precaution of putting the remaining free young black men in jail as well.

and mexicans as they might be facilitating the drug transfers from mexico.
