AHHHHH Professor.

Nobody is castigating his former military service.
Me of all people. Ribit of all people. Anyone else who has served. You think two jarheads are not thrilled about Mad Dog being head of an agency?
Of course not.

BUT

Back in December Vice President Mike Pence asked General Kelly, who has now been a politician for several years and a critic over the Iran deal from Obuckwheat, and was eventually let go for various reasons we can all speculate on, Kelly assured Pence that he did not speak with the Russians about whatever.

Are you saying Mike Pence is a liar????

I would believe Pence before I would believe Kelly.

The chain of unequivocal trust has been violated. Pence was made out to look like a fool by going public defending General Kelly asserting that the General had no contact with the Russians back in December during the transition time.

It's on record.

WHY would Pence make a fool out of himself and appear to be trying to hide or cover up something that Kelly clearly did????

Kelly may have simply forgotten. But when Mike Pence says and there are other witnesses to this, that when he asked General Kelly if he had been in contact with the Russians during transition and the General said NO HE HAD NOT, you honestly think Pence would blatantly lie about that?????

Professor, you are showing me that you know little of Pence's FAITH, his belief system, and that HIS reputation as being straight as an arrow is equal to if not better by far than General Kelly's. We are talking about ETHICS here and beyond that, WHAT DOES ONE TRULY BELIEVE about LYING and what the BIble has to say about it?

Pence could talk to you all day about that and his Biblical perspective all day long.

I do not recall ANY news organization bringing attention to the General's personal Faith and Trust in God, the Bible or Christ.

I would take MIke Pence's word every hour of every day of the week over General Kelly.

But the General is NOT DENYING that he told Pence one thing and did something else.

SO I do not see or understand why there is even a debate.

TRUST was BROKEN. It cannot be regained or restored.

It is to me that simple.

I do not believe for a heartbeat there is some nefarious behind the doors conspiracy to get rid of Kelly after they fought so hard to get his nomination approved.

You certainly are entitled to your opinion though.

I just look at it through the eyes of a believer and one who has been in position of leadership both in the Church as well as in Business and know the value of telling the truth at all times, even if it hurts....

Trust can never be fully restored once broken. You should know that....

Micro - I hate to call the VP a liar here - BUT I AM.

General Flynn has a long and distinguished history of honorable service to this country. I don't believe for one second that he misled, much less lied to the VP, about contacting the Russians. I would have fired the man if he had NOT been in contact with the Russians during the all important transition period. The White House spin on this whole thing has stunk from square one.

Did General Flynn lie to the American Public ? Was he ORDERED (by Trump or Pence) not to admit to the public about his contact with the Russians. I absolutely believe this is the case.
