If he did not have enough fortitude to resign after being caught lying to the Vice President about whether he TALKED with the Russians during transition time then that does not speak well of character.

Now, far be it from me to attack General Kelly on moral character issue but if he said to Pence, and Pence said he did , that he did not speak with the Russians back in December, and it has been made public now through an internal leak by someone, that indeed Kelly did indeed speak with the Russians after denying it to Pence, then I would say the General backed himself into a corner and had no other choice but to resign as TRUST has been shattered and I would not believe in a heartbeat that Pence is making up anything.

Just how I see it sir....

When the President of the United States tells you to resign, you resign. It's either that or get fired. There's nothing admirable about it.

Now, if he resigned of his own volition, then yeah, there might be. But that's not the story I'm hearing.
