LMAO - Now that's a good one. The magnetic poles are shifting and THAT accounts/will account for 'changes in the climate'.

Ummmm .... The GEOGRAPHIC POLES (ie. end points of the AXIS of rotation) ALSO change/wobble. Unlike the 'magnetic poles' (which are controlled by currents of 'material flowing' deep beneath the mantle) the Geographic Poles DO NOT completely 'swap' - and are constrained to a rather small (in comparison) distance of wobble compared to the distances that the magnetic poles move.

Now - the GEOGRAPHIC POLES have a whole heck of a lot more control over the 'climate' than the magnetic poles do (Does that really need to be elaborated on ?)

Granted - the magnetic poles DO have SOME influence on the climate - because they have some (small) influence on the distribution of solar radiation and (large) atmospheric ion/particle distribution (eg. aurora borealis).

Major effects on climate ?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...............
