The opening line of the article is the ONLY place where there was ANY sort of attribution as to who WAS responsible for the firing. Therefore there was NO need to say it again, it had already been stated and therefore it should no longer be an issue to either the author or the reader.

...the opening line is not supported in the story. I could post a story with the opening line "OCU Is Nuts" and then have the story be about the best ways to skin a cat. If the opening line is not supported in the story, it is invalid. Learned that in tenth grade english. Too bad you went to a trade school or you would know it too.
