john mccain should realize that trump is "his president" and that he should be supporting him and trying to help him. If he wants to be critical he should do it in private. All this criticism of his president before the media is nothing but grandstanding.

He should neutralize his enemies within his own party first. John McCain comes to mind.

It seems to me that proposing a round of base closures, and putting YUMA ARIZONA on that list, might give President Trump the leverage he needs to get Senator McCain to shut his mouth and become a "supporter." Perhaps threatening to close something else that's near and dear to the Senator might be even better.

The President would have to be careful. Arizona has been good to him. But John McCain has sure been a horse's a$$.
