LOL!!!!
De,
I am only stating what the technical problem is for that picture looking at it. I have no ideas of what the company's policies were for quality standards, but it is apparent that they were not enforced.
I have said it before, and no offense to anyone intended, but I purchased my last American made vehicle in 1996.
There is not a chance in HADES I would ever buy ANYTHING made by a Detroit car company.
Since then, I have lived blissfully without having to pay for sudden repairs to things you would not expect to have gone bad.
In fact, the last 240,000 miles I have not had a single repair bill that was not simply just routine maintenance items, and many of those I do myself.
It's refreshing not living at the service department after the three year or five year warranty expires.
One Chevrolet dealer here in Cincy has actually been offering "lifetime mechanical protection" on all new and used vehicles they sell. Must be a sign of desperation.... It certainly is not because those vehicles will not break down...
My brother in law has an old Lexus LS400 model. It has about 400,000 miles on it and NOTHING has ever gone wrong with it. He takes it to be checked out and has t he fluids and filters and belts changed as well as Brakes when needed, but it just runs as good as when it was new. Nicely made vehicle. Rxpensive, but nice. Paint is still good also.
It reflects on the company.
Yes it does. I have really enjoyed my last three vehicles, two from Hyundai and Kia, and one Mitsubishi Galant. ZERO problems ever. Except normal wear parts and fluids and filters.
That has been my experience.
But wowser, that paint job is horrid to say the least...
