I agree with you, Wiggs ... I have owned and operated a fleet (4 cars at any one time seems like a fleet to me, don'tcha know!) of Toyotas for well over a decade, now. I buy 'em "Certified Used." They have been great vehicles. My older son's Tacoma has 250,000 miles on it, and my younger son's 4Runner has 150,000 miles on it. If you maintain them, they last for a long, long time.

I'm pretty sold on Toyotas. I gave a '99 Sienna to my daughter, now has 240k. Still pretty and probably wouldn't have fetched $2k in a private sale. Belts and struts will keep it going for a long while. Same for another '00 my wife has.

A neighbor has a Previa just passed 400k with no major repairs.

If you can find an old Toy with a decent CarFax and proof of regular scheduled maintenance it'll probably be a good bet.

Suspect the same would hold true for Subaru(*) or Honda.

(*)Problem with Subarus is the dip shit hippy stickers that seem standard on the brand.
