Oh, I hear ya, micro ... I've been married for over 32 years, now. I am very, very blessed with a good, loving, beautiful, intelligent woman who works with me to keep everything moving onward and upward to the best of our abilities. And, in fact, we are quite fortunate in that it is extremely rare when we disagree. I suppose that's primarily due to us learning, over the years, when and how to pick our battles. No, I am getting very tired of the mindless leftist and fem-centric BS that I encounter from some relatives, friends, acquaintances, and out in the world, generally ... not from my wife. And, even though she far more often than not agrees with me, my wife would rather I not be as willing to point out differences I have with what other people might say to us. But, like I've said before ... I've been workin' on my inner-curmudgeon for a long time, now ... I don't get belligerent or abusive ... but, I don't sit in silence, anymore, either. Problem is, most leftists are extremely thin-skinned and their arguments rarely have any leg to stand on ... so, after my rebuttals have them spitting in astonishment and confusion, I usually am willing to take pity and not test their delicate natures too much further ... especially if they are family or friends. I will walk away ... but, they know, next time, that they can't spew their usual politically correct, leftist nonsense at me and not expect a direct response. I don't instigate political conversations with friends and family members who are political polar opposites from me, but if they deliberately choose to enter the arena and poke the curmudgeon ... well ... I will not shy away ... and any damage to their fragile psyche and flimsy beliefs is on them.

Beldin,
While INWARDLY and in MY MIND I would AGREE and THINK THAT, but after 43 years of marriage I can tell you this much I have learned from history:
Many a nation has had a King.
Many a nation also has had a Queen.
Rue #1 to everyone who lives in those nations is DON'T PISS OFF THE QUEEN, including the King.
She may be the fairer sex, the less physically strong, but when the Queen lets her feelings be known and heard, it's always a good idea if ya want to avoid an endless calendar of conflict and misery, to just let her have it her way as long as it don't kill you.
The climate and living conditions in the house will be a lot better......
Just my experience........
