I counted my chickens before they wuz hatched.
I began toget suspicious last night and then in full suspicious mode this morning when I checked my email and saw several messages from this person who wants me to to take money and go to western union to pay the moving company who is out of Detroit. WHY would you hire a moving company in Detroit when the piano is in Cincinnati and there are LOTS of PIANO movers here who move pianos for a lot less than $600.00
Then I got a bunch of emails from "PAYPAL" stating that they had the money and were holding it in escrow until I sent them a receipt confirming payment had been made to the mover via Western Union.
Inother words, they thought I was dumb enough to go get out $600.00 and blindly go pay Western Union for a piano mover in Detroit and then I needed to scan and attach the receipt and send it to PayPal so they would then know the transaction was done and would put the money they were supposedly holding into my account....
Yep. A call to PayPal verified that they have nothing to do with that and that it is a scam that they see regularly. I noticed the ending of the email addy supposedly from PayPal was not the same as a real one from PayPal as well.

SO we shall see.
I caught an online Craigslist scammer which I understand is something that happens a lot....
