my dsl service deteriorated starting almost simultaneously with the appearance of availability of fiber optic.
They dug up our neighborhood a few years ago so they could put in their new, high tech, fiber optic service. When they drove off our telephones didn't work and it took them over a week to get them fixed. Now they don't understand why nobody in the neighborhood wants their television service.
