Yeah - I was a little worked up that the dems had apparently landed another blow yesterday when Atty Gen Jeff Sessions 'recused himself'.
Turn down heat, cogitate ...
Why, exactly and from what ?
First - Why ? Because of recommendations from Sessions' staff and advisors - and because of Sessions' own integrity. He was part of the campaign - and as his written statement said - any investigation into the Trump campaign was something that he, Sessions should quite properly, not be involved in.
Took some time for that to sink in - it was, and is, quite the proper thing to have done. After eight years of illegal actions from the former atty generals (Holder and Lynch) and improper behaviour, perhaps the return to REAL INTEGRITY was too jarring a change for monkey to immediately accept - or maybe monkey is just a little too adalpated and senile.
SECOND- From WHAT, exactly, did Sessions 'recuse' himself ? As Mark Levin would say .... from a nothing burger. Yeah, that's right - Sessions recused himself from a nothing burger - any possible investigation into 'campaign improprieties by the Trump campaign'. Since there were no 'improprieties' - Sessions recused himself FROM NOTHING.
Well, DUHH monkey - just as DE was pointing out. *lol*
Amazing the clarity that comes after that first sip of fresh brewed in the morning.
