I went through and read about the I Q's of the top 15 0r 20 Presidents of the United States.
There were quite a few with that quotient being underneath 136.
Now, there is nothing wrong with 136, which is above average and somewhat leaning toward gifted, but I looked at hem all.
As I know what mine actually is I felt pretty good knowing that there were only a couple of three maybe 4 who had a higher one.
THIS being said, is only to illustrate your point. Everyone who gets elected to an office actually thinks they now know so much more than the rest of us who chose not to get mired in the swamp called Washington.
These people believe they are just so much more brilliant than than those of us who are capable of earning a good living without being on the public dole like they are.
Yes sir, they actually do believe we the people are really far beneath them in brainpower and understanding, when reality is that many of us are far above them.
