Professor,

I went through and read about the I Q's of the top 15 0r 20 Presidents of the United States.

There were quite a few with that quotient being underneath 136.

Now, there is nothing wrong with 136, which is above average and somewhat leaning toward gifted, but I looked at hem all.

As I know what mine actually is I felt pretty good knowing that there were only a couple of three maybe 4 who had a higher one.

THIS being said, is only to illustrate your point. Everyone who gets elected to an office actually thinks they now know so much more than the rest of us who chose not to get mired in the swamp called Washington.

These people believe they are just so much more brilliant than than those of us who are capable of earning a good living without being on the public dole like they are.

Yes sir, they actually do believe we the people are really far beneath them in brainpower and understanding, when reality is that many of us are far above them.

I agree with your sentiment sir!

Yesterday - one of the 'news sites' quoted an un-named REPUBLICAN Congress critter about the new Republican 'healthcare plan' -

Paraphrasing (from memory) - "If our plan doesn't bring down 'healthcare' costs - then we've been spinning our wheels".

Personal note to all Congress Critters -

AT NO TIME IN OUR LIFETIMES HAS THE GOVERNMENT DONE A DAMN THING TO BRING DOWN THE COSTS OF HEALTH CARE.

The only thing ALL your freaking meddling has done is to shift around WHO PAYS for our 'health care' - that is what 'INSURANCE' - whether government or private - does - it shifts costs.

IT DOES NOT ADDRESS, IN ANY MANNER, the ACTUAL COSTS of 'health care.'

SHeeeeesh - How stooooopid do you think we are ?

Guess that is pretty obvious - ya thinks most of us is too damned stooooopid to understand that basic truth.
