There is a major short somewhere in the interior lighting. I spent 5 hours first day and no luck, well, I have a wiring diagram now and will try again, Then one window wouldn't roll down, it does now, and doors wouldn't lock shut when opened from the outside

...wif da edsel, them is called "Options".

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

I have been working all week on it to make sure there will be no problems.........5 years ago I had everything working, well they didn't at the start of the week. I started with a blown fuse and no interior lights. I replaced the fuse with a 20 amp, which what was blown, and it blew it again in a heartbeat. There is a major short somewhere in the interior lighting. I spent 5 hours first day and no luck, well, I have a wiring diagram now and will try again, Then one window wouldn't roll down, it does now, and doors wouldn't lock shut when opened from the outside> Crazy chit, well they close now.

yesterday I tried the heating system. Turned on the fan and it sounded like a dryer with a pair of snickers inside . what a noise. I found a mouse in the squirrel cage dead, in his nest of insulation from one of the buildings. Man they are resourceful lil buggers LOL. Got the system cleared of mice nest, then onto why no heat.

Previous owner cut and blocked a vacuum line. This old car has a vacuum line running to the heat exchanger that runs a slow valve that operates a fast vacuum valve at the exchanger. DUHHHHHHHH Ya got to have vacuum to run this system. ALL fixed, we have great heat inside now. What a chore working on these ol cars, FUN but work. I buffed the chit out of it AGAIN, and she is ready for the road this weekend!!!!!!!! Wish us luck........

Only things I didn't do to this car was the paint and seats, everything else I did, carpet, replaced a rotted padded dash stereo with blue lights in the speakers, door panels, and the rest......
