zim, I think I would not mind seeing a market correction.
I'd love to be able to buy more shares of good companies
at 'fire sale prices'.

I will be in when the 100% correction occurs. The true value of the dow is like 6000. LOL I would buy at 10,000 though.......... weeeeeeeeeeeee

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Is the stock market overvalued?

Probably.
After almost a decade of obonzo using 'quantitative easing'
to pump trillions of dollars into it it really ought to be.

But, if, as Professor Trots suggested, President Trump
reduces corporate tax rates, that would have a profound
effect on the valuations.

Further, if President Trump takes a machete to the reams
of red tape cranked out by obonzos administration that
would make it easier for American businesses to expand.

From a personal standpoint, my dividend paying stocks
continued to pay out (most of them anyway) after the
year 2000 collapse . . . and after the 2008 sub prime meltdown . . .
Think about it, are folks going to stop buying Coca Cola
just because the stock market 'corrected'?

I think I would not mind seeing a market correction.
I'd love to be able to buy more shares of good companies
at 'fire sale prices'.

Zim.
