...and now for a Kingly explaination of what happened to the Obamacare Repeal and Replace thingy
The republicans did not have any problem sending just any kind of repeal and replace act to the whitehouse when Obama was president because they knew it would not be signed and that there were not enough votes to override a veto. They have never had a bill to replace obamacare and did not think they would really need one because they did not anticipate a Trump win. When Trump won, they were caught flat footed with no they could even get republicans behind. In short, they were not prepared to do the job because they expected to be able to send bills to the whitehouse that would be vetoed so they could tell their constituents that they had tried really really hard, and then go on about Bidness As Usual!
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
