...vinegar is the only way to go. That sweet barbecue sauce is for girly men. Same as people who put sugar in their cornbread. If ya puts sugar in cornbread it isn't cornbread anymore. It is really gritty cake.

Be careful, ribit ... that sugar-based BBQ is east of Texas. Our BBQ is BEEF, not pork, and the sauce is NOT sweet - often times, it is mustard-based. BBQ is THE most dangerous food to express opinions about ... every region has its own, vastly different way of q'ing ... and a whole lot of people are quite touchy about exactly the correct way to do it.
