This bit about Congress voting on strictly Party lines has got to stop. Republicans win all such votes, of course, but that's only for now. The tide will turn one day, and before long the Democrats will be the ones coming out on top. That's how it works. Back and forth, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

The reason it has to stop is because Democrats have clearly abandoned any sense of ethics in their votes against Neil Gorsuch. Going along with the party is more important to them than ethics, morality, or the best interests of the country.

I have no doubt Republicans will behave the same way - when THEY are the minority party again. Politicians do this when re-election becomes more important to them than voting conscientiously. They trash their vows to do what's right in order to improve their chances of staying in office. It's vile and pathetic.

Donald Trump is quite right. WE NEED TERM LIMITS. Desperately. The shorter the limits the better. And we need them soon. When politicians know that they CAN'T be re-elected... or even that they can't be re-elected many times more... the stranglehold their party has over how they vote is greatly weakened.

Mark my words: Until they're implemented, the divisiveness we have in Congress and see in our country today will only worsen. The days of "Loyal Opposition" are over. Now, it's just dog-eat-dog, in a battle that can only drag the country down.
