"Can we be civil enough to save society? We don't have to be nice to people we disagree with, says historian Teresa Bejan. We just have to keep talking to them."
That's it. Short, sweet and profound.
I'll only add that if we do not talk our differences out, we will most assuredly FIGHT them out one day.
