There is something to that.
If one is never exposed to 'dirt and germs' . . . One
will not develop the natural immunities necessary to
protect one against germs found in the 'natural environment'.
I've been also reading where mothers who do not eat any
peanut products for fear their child will develop an
allergy to peanuts . . . children tend to be allergic
to peanut products.
