Micro,
One would think that being hypoglycemic one would eat
sugar deliberately - to get the blood sugar level up.

I hear you on the need to lose a few pounds . . .
I once weighed in at about 190 pounds . . . and I decided
I really needed to lose thirty pounds. I lost those
thirty . . then ten crept back.

I lost the first ten primarily by dropping sugary sodas
from my diet. The second ten I attribute to deleting
the cookie and chips from my lunch. The last ten was
a bear to get rid of.

These days GirlFriend keeps bringing home cookies and
donuts and crumb cakes etc. etc. etc. for the grand
kids . . . and I have a terrible sweet tooth.

Lord Lead Me NOT into Temptation.

Zim.

Well that is interesting Professor.

You have a very keen sensitivity to lactose and it seems that is caused by sugar.

I won't bother to tell you how delicious that Custard filled chocolate iced donut was earlier today.

We won;t talk about the blueberry sour cream donuts either.

I ate one for you since I knew you could not do so but probably would if you could.

I do this a lot for my wife. She hasn't had a teaspoon of sugar in over 35 years. She is an acute hypoglycemic which is someone with chronic, constant low blood sugar, just opposite of a diabetic.

Takes her all day to get her sugar count up to about 75....
I have probably some of the worst eating habits of anyone and am aware of it.
Now then, the donuts and Boston Custard filled pastries were delicious but they were the first ones I have had in maybe a year.

But I do enjoy most food groups and thankfully am not really affected by any....

I have learned to cut back and have managed to lose 10 pounds since January.

Another 40 would be good.
