DIRTY MILK eh ?

Couldn't read the entire article - I have a hard time reading past the first lie.

LIE#1 (from naturlnews) : Truth #1) Strong bones depend far more on vitamin D than milk. Most people get plenty of calcium in their diet, but without sufficient vitamin D in your blood, your bones can’t efficiently use the calcium you’re consuming.

I don't- and have to take a daily calcium supplement - in this case the cheapest being antacids - a couple of chewable tabs with no sucrose per day. If I don't - severe muscle cramps. Many older people do NOT get enough calcium in their daily diets.

As to the common 'naturalnews' lie about anti-biotics and hormones in store-bought 'non-organic' milk (which is still too damned expensive due to the government gasoline ethanol mandates) .... this short piece is worth reading to get some REAL facts.

BTW: It took me YEARS to discover the cause of my muscle cramps - due to lactose intolerance developed in my mid-30's - I had DRASTICALLY reduced my dairy intake to almost nothing.

I am NO LONGER LACTOSE INTOLERANT. How ? By eliminating (almost entirely) fructose (that includes both processed and unprocessed 'sugar') from my diet.

I have proven this to be the cause of lactose intolerance,in me. Adding small amounts of sugar back to my diet (less than 100 calories per day) not only causes very sudden weight gain, but also results in lactose intolerance within a matter of days.
