That was some week-end! Feel for you.
Although the good thing is you are still relatively young and not my, DGP's, Ribit's, or even Nemo's age.
You will discover when you get into your sixties muscles you did not know even existed when exerted. YOu meet new friends like Arthur Itis who makes uninvited housecalls.
Nevertheless, you and your family have not only done the physically demanding and punishing task of carrying, lugging, loading, and unloading, re-carrying, lugging, loading, all those possessions, on top of enduring a round trip drive in a 26 foot truck and all over a long week-end.
WOW!!!
I guess you are pretty well beat, battered, exhausted, sore, and very tired.
You have my permission to take a day and recuperate.
On the other hand, I commend you on the monumental efforts. You had a HUGE week last week what with decision on sending your son to COLLEGE and packing up all your belongings to head to Vermont, where you will enjoy winter in a whole new way.....
Selling is always good. Especially if you can actually get people not looking for nice things for almost free. That is what I discovered here at dad's estate sale here. I refused to accept low ball offers and would rather GIVE some things to charities rather than have someone almost steal from my father.
Good luck and best wishes for your endeavor De!
You have begun your new journey in this realm called life. Congrats on a difficult job accomplished....
