letgo is not any better Captain.
I have given up on those app sites for very reasons you cite plus if you are the one selling something that actually is in condition as described, seems like the buyers always want it for almost free.
Example being a solid Wood Dining table and six chairs, three leaves, custom fit tabletop pads to protect the table, plus solid wood Buffet and Hutch.
This set was over 6 grand.
I asked only $500.00 for it all. GREAT condition.
Someone asked if I would $200.00 for it.
I said no.
I took it off their site and gave it to Salvation Army. At least I feel better that it did not get stolen and maybe the Army can use the proceeds when they sell it to help out those in need.
I hear ya about the online app sites.......
