I suspect that if I ever get called for jury duty again I will be going to jail. I don't plan on answering any 'personal' questions at all. They can promise ya all the privacy in the world, but the media nerds can get a judgement based on the freedom of information act and expose anything you say to public scrutiny. If they ask you how much time you spend on the internet and what sites you visit you and all your friends and neighbors might be reading about it on the front page in a day or two. It's a problem for the court system, but it's not my problem. It's theirs.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

The last time I got jury summons - it reached the questioning stage - in front of the judge and all.

The prosecutor laid out the hypotheticals of the case - one guy pulls a knife on the other - the other guy, the one on trial, pulls out a gun and shoots him.

The question to everybody was 'Do you support the concealed carry laws ?'. Raised my hand and said "No, I don't". Prosecutor asks me why - tell him I believe that the second amendment allows us to carry arms, and that concealed carry laws intrude on that. Snickering all around - but Prosecutor turns to the court and says that is serious discussion in legal circles and had merit.

Needless to say, I wasn't selected to serve on that jury.
