This dog was LOVED and more importantly, lived a long life in dog years with someone who obviously took very good care of him and so you had a great relationship.
As I have said many times here, your dog is always GLAD to see you and will LICK you when you are down instead of kicking you.
Wiggles lived a very good life and could not have done better. He enjoyed life with his companion and owner.
I know your hurt from Wiggles "going home" and I totally empathize with you. It will take awhile to adjust.
We still miss our beloved Maggie and often still after four months expect her to be on the other side of the front door of the house waiting for us to open the door.
It's tough to lose ANYONE that you actually love.
It is the thing that makes us human.
Like you, I have wondered if I will see my beloved best friend again.
There are animals in heaven. The BIile does speak about that.
Will our loved pets and friends be there?
We don't know.
This we do know. GOD never disappoints and wants and desires us to be happy and to shed HIS LOVE upon us.
Will Wiggles and Maggie be there waiting for us?
I can only hope.
IN the meantime, enjoy the beautiful RAINBOW BRIDGE that Ribit so graciously shared with us.
I have printed it out on good paper stock and framed it and it hangs in my office.
My wife and I both cried when reading it thinking of the one we miss so much but hoping that our God will reward us one day with reuniting us together.
HOPE is a wonderful thing. Love is a wonderful thing.
You were blessed to have such a wonderful relationship with your Wiggles. Enjoy and cherish those memories.
My best to you,
micro....
