Macron and Le Pen are night and day . I was watching some this morning......and yeah are markets would have a tissy fit for sure....
Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

I'd say it was a win for both Macron and Le Pen. He beat her by only 2.5 percent, with 55 percent of the votes going to others. If those other voters lean even a little bit more toward Le Pen than Macron on May 7th, she's going to win.
I'm hopeful. If France goes for Le Pen, it'll be the final nail in the coffin of the European Union. That would be a good thing for the world. I doubt the stock market will react positively to it, though. Investors don't like uncertainty.
