Micro> If one exclusively uses their credit/debit card to purchase and pay for things they want, or include just having automatic deduction of a monthly bill from your account, would that not be same as not using cash???

If,
Everyone was doing that that would be a 'cashless
society'.

I believe the banks would just LOVE that.
They could impose 'cash card' fees and folks would
have absolutely no choice except to pay them.

This was years back now . . . the teller at Bank of
America asked me if I wanted a 'free cash card'. I
said OK. A month and a half later, I had the card, (I had not used it yet)
and they tried to stick me with a buck and a half
monthly 'service fee'. I think me and a LOT of other
customers went ballistic.

I almost had that girl in tears as she was whining she
could not make the charge go away "But it won't be there
next month" she whined." I said it wouldn't be as
I was canceling the card and I made her shred it.

I can see why banks (and the government) would love a cashless society.

Without cash . . . .
How would one pay the baby sitter?
How would one pay the kid one wants to cut ones grass?

Zim.
