Micro,
Rather than bi-fold, have you considered sliding doors?
That's what my Mom has in her house for her closets.
work nice.

We had to replace the original (very heavy wooden)
sliding doors recently . . . with some light weight
things. Other than hauling the old doors out the
front door it was a pretty easy job.

(I believe it was attach the tracks to the floor and the ceiling. Hang the door from the ceiling track and
adjust the roller for the bottom track. (It had some
adjustment for different heights.)

Thanks Captain.

If I could only get the rest of my useless siblings to come and help do the other things it would be great.

I will definitely call you if I run into trouble.

One thing I already notices is this.

The rough openings are all just fractions of an inch SHORT of being either 4 ft. or 5 ft.wide openings.

I guess I have to see what the bi-fold actually is per side before worrying that I am going to have to trim these stinking things. I simply want something to fit without me having to do a lot more work.

When I say the opening are a fraction of an inch, I mean that a 48 inch opening is really only 47 1/2 and same for the 60 inch rough openings.

I just wondered why the carpenters didn't make these openings the exact dimensions....

Always something.....
