I think by and large you are 100 percent spot on except for the guillotine.

This is why CONGRESS in its earlier years was PART TIME and only met certain times a year, and got done with its business and the representatives went back home to their jobs or farms.. There were no payrolls and a million aides all being paid by the American Tax payers.

It kept the corruption from outside persuasion way down and taxpayers were not on the hook for lifetime pensions and benefits for these people.

Iffen ya wants to be of service to yer country, then be of service and don't expect to be paid..

IFFEN ya can't afford to volunteer to serve, then DON'T..

I am tired of the entire scam of government.

Has any 'Speaker' ever denied any bill larded down with earmarks passage?

Has any 'Speaker' ever stood up for the Constitution and refused passage of a bill violating the Constitution? (Bearing that the Constitution lays out the responsibilities of the federal government - and anything not listed as a power or responsibility of the federal IS reserved for the states.)

Quite frankly I think the entire congress needs to meet the guillotine for their REFUSAL to obey the Constitution.
